Turning the Great Orion Nebula into a Heart for Valentine’s Day

 While visiting my wife’s parents I decided to do a little astrophotography with my iPhone XR and Televue Ranger refractor. By chance, I discovered that if I over exposed the images of the Orion Nebula it would look heart-shaped. So, I decided to creat a time lapse video of the nebula using the night cap application on my phone. You can see the result in the video below.
